Activity

i. International Education Day

We have invited as many foreign friends who currently study, exchange, work or live in Taiwan to walk into the classroom and shared their lives with our students and teachers. Breaking the boarder and COVID limitation, we do our best helping our students broaden their horizon of the world and not just merely live alone in Taiwan. On this day, students see different beauty of the world, value and respect each difference. They learn to communicate with people with diverse background and share lives with others.

Generous friends from all over the world.

We teach foreign friends to play diablo ring.

Friends share their hometown food with us.

We cross cultures with bubble milk tea.

iv. 2022 U.S.-Taiwan Education Initiative

As one and the first overseas sister school in junior educational stage in Taoyuan, NLJH was invited as a co-host school to support the event from AIT. It not only gave us a chance to reach out, but also provided our student to connect and interact with differnt people with diversed cultures all over the world. Most importantly, we have a big step forward in interschool relationship and the ideas of how each school works to achieve the same goal of better international educational exchanges through this experience.

v. 2023 Postcard Exchange with Blich High school, Israel

Thanks to Israel Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei acted as a go-between to help and match Blich High school in Israel to have the cross-postcard for both sides to get another exchange experience. The purpose for the activity was to let students use language to communicate with others and motivate them being more active to apply language in their daily. Through the opportunity, we get to know more of the culture in Israel and show more friends the beauty in Taiwan.
