High School: Dixon High School

Bachelors Degree: University of Iowa

I have worked mostly in outside sales executive jobs for newspapers and radio stations. I also worked with Make A Wish 5K Dixon for nine years getting all the sponsorships and prize donations for the event.  I am ecstatic to be working at MJHS  library!  I have felt welcomed by all as part of the MJHS family. I LOVE LOVE working with the junior high students! (They make me laugh and keep me young!)

I live in Byron with my youngest daughter, Payton. I have two older daughters named Samantha and Taylor. I also have three grandchildren, Charlie, Malcolm, and Rowan.

"Fun" Facts:

• I was born in Seoul, South Korea and moved to the United States when I  was four years old. 

• I originally began college majoring in classical piano.

• I LOVE Harley Davidson Motorcycles! 

• I  participate in Warriors Dashes to support St. Jude's Children's' Hospital. (We dress up in fun costumes.)

• I have run five half-marathons and hope one day to run a full marathon.
