After teaching 5th grade for three years at Kings, 8th grade literature for five years and 6th grade literature for seven years (both at MJHS), I was excited when my passion for books and reading took me to my next adventure as the MCUSD 223 District Librarian.! It is such a privilege and honor to be able to connect students with great books, and nothing makes me happier than when I see a student fall in love with reading. 

I live in Stillman Valley with my husband, Dave (also a SVHS graduate). We have six children (Braeden, Brody, Brandie, Britton, Lindsey, and Cassie) and ten "perfect" grandchildren.  :-)  (Caiden, Addison, Kane, Blake, Tucker,, Mason, Isaac, Koe, Rhett, and Charlee.)

This is my last year of working for Meridian CUSD and I will miss everyone so much when I retire, but plan to visit often.

"Fun" Facts

• I LOVE theater! Growing up I was in several musical productions. I have been in five commercials in my life, and I am the choreographer for our SVHS musicals! 

• I have gone bungee jumping  

• I am a former Rockford Lightning (CBA Basketball Team) Cheerleader

• My family and I go  snowmobiling in Wisconsin each winter

• I know sign language
