SEA-Tech covers the cost of MOST REQUIRED course materials made available in the CFCC Bookstore. SEA-Tech does not reimburse, so it is important to follow the guidelines below for picking up your required textbooks/materials from one of the CFCC bookstores during the scheduled dates for textbook pick up. These dates will be the same dates used and advertised for Financial Aid charges.
If your class requires an item not carried in the bookstore, SEA-Tech may provide assistance if there is a financial hardship. Please reach out to Dr. Skipper to discuss those needs.

Important Reminders for Getting the Correct Course Materials:
ALWAYS check your CFCC email regularly.
READ your syllabus.
Textbook information will be in your course syllabus for each class, and a syllabus for each class can be found on Canvas as soon as the semester starts.
Always verify required course materials by reading your syllabus BEFORE UNWRAPPING ANY TEXTS OR CODES.Many courses no longer use physical textbooks and use what is called Inclusive Access (IA). This means that either the material is already embedded into the course in Canvas OR the bookstore will email you the access code information. In other words, there will be no physical textbook.
For classes with inclusive access (IA), your materials are electronic. Be on the look out around Jan. 9, 2023, for an email from the CFCC Bookstore to your CFCC gmail account with instructions for activating each IA source.
Please DO NOT UNWRAP ANY CODES/TEXTS UNTIL YOU VERIFY VIA THE SYLLABUS AND YOUR INSTRUCTOR THAT YOU HAVE THE CORRECT MATERIALS.
TECHNOLOGY/SOFTWARE NEEDS:
If you are required to download software, videos, or any other technology that does not immediately work on your NHCS laptop, please use the follow link to access the NHCS Help Desk page with the Help Desk phone number, the link to create a help desk ticket at the top of the page, and much more.
A Help Desk Ticket must be created to request any needed CFCC technology. NHCS IT staff will coordinate as needed with CFCC IT staff once the ticket has been created by you.
