This course provides a practical and experiential approach to entrepreneurship. This project-based method focuses on nurturing an entrepreneurial mindset and the practice of entrepreneurship. It equips students with tools to bring their idea from product concept to market launching. The course encourages entrepreneurial thinking beyond just learning the concepts of planning, funding, pitching, and marketing creative ideas, but it aims to empower students to create a new venture that has economic and social impact under conditions of extreme uncertainty.
The course integrates the value of empathy and reflection with open and disciplined inquiry into every facet of the entrepreneurial discourse.
If you decide to discontinue this course, it is your responsibility to officially drop it to avoid getting no refund (after 10% of course length), a W symbol (after 20%), or a grade (after 60%). Also, for several consecutive, unexplained absences, the instructor may drop a student.
