Welcome
Greetings and welcome to City College of San Francisco ESL courses! Our classes are designed to support English language learning students who are interested in improving their language skills.
My goal is to support your learning journey and achieve your goals. The classes I teach are centered on developing your speaking/listening/reading language skills, navigating intercultural and multilingual interactions, and giving you tools to empower your language exchanges with equity. We also explore meta-cognitive activities through reading, writing, discussion, and self reflection of our journeys and identities as learners in relationship to the English language.
Community is critical for learning and growing. Our community-based approach of helping one another, asking curious questions, and practicing patience supports our different stages of learning. I'm excited for us to be part of each other's journeys here at City College of San Francisco.
