Our textbook is "Calculus, Early Transcendentals," 8th edition, by James Stewart. We will be using the online HW/test system WebAssign (http://www.webassign.net), which includes the ebook, HW solutions, videos, etc. (You are not required to have a physical copy of the book.)

It is important to note that this course is a part of the CCSF Bookstore’s Inclusive Access / Follett Access program (as of Spring 2023). This means that the charge for the materials will automatically be added to your account. This will give you full access to the materials needed in this class. It will NOT give you access to a physical print text. If you wish to OPT OUT of this charge and purchase the physical text + WebAssign access at the bookstore, please head to https://includedcp.follett.com/Optin/1325. Fall 2022 Textbook INFORMATION (could change in Spring 2023):
You can purchase access to WebAssign/ebook directly online (no physical textbook). First, log in to our course in CANVAS and set up your account with WebAssign (details here). You will be given options to do one of the following:
enter an access code if you have one
use the 14 day trial period (free)
purchase WebAssign/ebook access online for $35.70 (one semester only, Spring 2022 price) or $106.25 (multiple terms of access for the lifetime of the edition). The multi-term option is good if you plan to take the 110ABC. Neither option comes with a hardcover book.
If you prefer to have a physical copy of the text, be aware that used copies might not have an unused access code for WebAssign.
The Ocean campus CCSF bookstore sometimes offers a "bundle" that includes a physical (paperback) textbook plus a WebAssign/ebook access code (good for multiple semesters) for $150, however, sometimes they get sold out or there are supply issues and the books must be back ordered for months, so please call before physically going to the bookstore or ordering a 'bundle.' ). The CCSF bookstore also offers an option with WebAssign/ebook access code only (good for a single semester only) for $42.00.
