Course Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, the student is able to:
Identify system-specific pathology of the Gastrointestinal, Cardiac, Genitourinary, Men’s & Woman’s Health, and Musculoskeletal systems for the adult and geriatric client.
Identify and utilize diagnostic tools to assess the system-specific pathology.
3. Differentiate which diagnostic tools are appropriate for a given disease state.
4. Formulate differential diagnoses for the assessed pathology for the adult and geriatric client.
5. Formulate a plan of treatment for the derived appropriate diagnosis
6. Evaluate the treatment plan for effectiveness and make appropriate changes when needed.
