1. Explain the role of theory for advanced practice (self-reflection)

2. Describe key milestones related to nursing theory and the development of the discipline 

3. Describe the relationships among concepts, theory, practice and research 

4. Compare and contrast concept analysis/concept development methods 

5. Research and apply Middle Range Theory to a case study

6. Critique specific theories used in practice and research based on level, scope, purpose, concepts, and definitions.
