Meet the Teacher
Annamaria Alcaro received her BM in music education from West Chester University and is currently pursuing her MA in music education from Montclair State University. Before joining Mahwah in 2020, Ms. Alcaro taught strings in the Montville school district and the Ridgewood community school as well as private violin and viola lessons.
In addition to teaching, Ms. Alcaro is an avid performer who can be heard playing the violin and viola throughout the greater NYC area.
