Teaching

I have extensive experience in academic administration, curriculum development, and innovative teaching. I previously served as Assistant Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni Relations at the Faculty of Science, Mahidol University, and I currently hold the position of Deputy Head of the Department of Biotechnology. In addition, I serve as a committee member of the Biotechnology Society of Thailand and the Mahidol University Faculty of Science Alumni Association.

In teaching and learning, I played a key role in developing the Bachelor of Science Program in Biotechnology and currently serve as the Program Director of the Bachelor of Science Program in Bioinnovation (International Program). I integrate a Flexi-edutainment Blended Learning approach into my teaching to enhance student engagement, promote active learning, and encourage students to develop creative and socially responsible mindsets.

My commitment to education and research has been recognized through several prestigious awards, including the Innovative Teaching Award (Mahidol Quality Fair), Outstanding University Staff Award, Online Blended Learning Course Award, and Outstanding Lecturer Award from the Faculty of Science. I am also professionally accredited as a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) under the PSF2023 framework by Advance HE, UK.

I currently serve as course coordinator for SCBT202 Fundamental Microbiology, SCBT203 Fundamental Microbiology Laboratory, SCBT222 Safety and Occupational Health for Biotechnologists, and SCBT607 Research Techniques in Biotechnology, and I contribute to teaching across a broad range of undergraduate and graduate courses, including Biotechnology and Society, Basic Laboratory Skills for Biotechnology, Applied Microbiology, Industrial Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Advanced Bioprocess Engineering and Biotechnology seminar courses.
