Spring 2027 Book Club
Join Erin Price, Leigh Mincks, and the MAEA Book Club Crew for an exploration of pedagogy, procedures, and the pragmatic aspects of the studio! This study is open to all Art Educators, with chances for thoughtful engagement with your programming, procedures, and protocols no matter what your style or context for teaching.
For Spring '27, we'll read and think with “What Artists Do” by Jen Ferrari and Jillian Hogan. This is an opportunity to learn about TAB pedagogy as well as other historic and contemporary approaches to art education, all while learning from your fellow art educators across the state about practical applications for your own teaching context.
We understand that life is busy! Our time together is magic - but if you cannot make the virtual sessions, you are welcome to follow along with us. Supervising games or putting kids to bed? No problem -- hop on when you can!
College credit is available through MAEA.
