Mr. Lee, a former MMSD student, has been the head of the MSCR- Cherokee program for the past 13 years. As a kid, Mr. Lee spent a lot of time in youth programming and it motivated him to pursue a career in education and youth work. His focus is always to put kids first and to provide a space where they can grow and excel into successful young people.
Fun Fact: Mr. Lee favorite movie is The Lion King.
Hello! I am Ms. Anna and this is my 3rd year as the MSCR Assistant Director at Cherokee Heights. I love getting to know students and making sure our program is a place where everyone feels like they belong. My favorite things to do outside of school are read, knit, paint, and eat delicious food!

Hi! I'm Hannah and I am so excited to have a fun school year at Cherokee Heights! I am originally from the Washington DC area, but have lived in Madison for 4 years and consider it my home. I love crafting, cooking, and hanging out with my cat, Simón.
Hello! My name is Kelsey Woodie and I run the D&D Club! I teach ELI Social Studies, and my favorite hobbies are reading and writing fantasy, playing D&D, and LARP.
I was born and raised in Milwaukee and am proud to be part of the team at Cherokee Heights Middle School. Outside of school, I enjoy attending sporting events, playing in adult sports leagues, golfing, and coaching youth sports.
Growing up, sports played a major role in shaping who I am. They taught me discipline, leadership, accountability, resilience, and teamwork. I learned how to overcome adversity, stay focused under pressure, and support others—on and off the field. Now, I aim to give back by sharing those same lessons with the students and athletes I work with.
Fun Fact: I won a state championship in football during high school.
