What are parent payment contributions?
The outstanding educational opportunities provided to Mac.Rob students rely on the generous contributions our families make through their parent payments. This page outline the parent payment contributions, what these funds are used for, and how our families can contribute to the culture and learning of all Mac.Rob students.
Your financial contributions make a significant difference to the programs we are able to offer our students, including the excellent teaching and learning programs, the vibrant enrichment and extra-curricular opportunities, services such as a school nurse, outstanding IT infrastructure and support, and the highly supportive wellbeing programs and staff. We make every effort to keep the cost of items and activities to a minimum and affordable for all families.
Your contributions go a long way to helping us provide the kind of excellent education you would expect of our school, and we are most appreciative of your support.
Explanations of what services Parent Payments contribute to, as well as the process for payment, are outlined in various languages in the videos below. To learn more about parent payment policies, please visit the DET's Parent Payment webpage.Parent Payment Policies and contributions for 2025.
These policies include a breakdown of costs for the year, general payment / refund information, and explanations of the two payment options.

Refunds of payments.
Students withdrawing from camps, excursions and/or activities will not automatically be entitled to a refund.
Where no cost is incurred by the school, a full refund may be payable when:
The students place is filled by another student.
The principal/principal’s delegate deems the student’s withdrawal was unavoidable (e.g: illness). Note: Proof of reason for withdrawal may be requested in such circumstances (e.g: medical certificate).
A partial refund may be payable when:
The principal/principal’s delegate deems the student’s withdrawal was unavoidable, but the school has incurred expenses relating to the withdrawal.
In such cases, the refund will be the full amount less any expenses incurred by the school because of the withdrawal (e.g. Prepaid entry fees).
No refund will be payable when:
The principal deems the withdrawal was avoidable and the school has incurred the full costs of the excursion, camp or activity.
Instrumental Music
When a family requests a refund for any part of the Instrumental Music fee, consideration will first be given to the costs incurred by the school in planning and arranging Instrumental Music Instruction, and the cost of any non-returnable items provided to the students.
