The MAVEN Peer Education team invites you to view the Digital version of the Peace Together Gallery. Featured as part of Ending Sexual Violence: Week of Action in 2022 and 2023, this public art gallery showcased the artistic talents of MacEwan students, faculty, and alumni and provided them with the opportunity to utilize their talents for healing and expression. Art displayed varied in mediums, from oil paintings, digital art, photography, music, fashion, poetry, short stories, magazines, and more! The goal of the gallery is to provide a safe space for survivors, supporters, and allies to display their artistic creations and spread awareness around issues of sexual violence while celebrating survivors’ healing journeys and resiliency in a safe space. This gallery was organized by MAVEN volunteers from the Office of Sexual Violence Prevention, Education, and Response (OSVPER).
We want to give a special thanks to OSVPER for their support in this initiative and to all the artists who bravely submitted their art for this gallery. Thank you!
TRIGGER WARNING: Art displayed in these digital galleries may contain themes of sexual violence, suicide, self-harm, child sexual assault, domestic violence, nudity, intimate partner violence, child abuse, mental illness, incest, and more. Please engage with the gallery at your own comfort level.
