Class Gift Effort
Reunion is about coming together to celebrate our community and everything that Macalester is and aspires to be. The Reunion Class Gift is an important way for you and your classmates to celebrate your milestone in a special and significant way. It’s a meaningful gesture of belief in Macalester’s mission, and it has an immediate impact on students who are on campus today.

My employer has a match program for charitable gifts. Will their contribution be counted?
Yes. AND your employer’s contribution is included in Macalester’s recognition of your gift.
Can I choose one of the Macalester Fund’s designations when I make my class gift?
Yes. Any donation to one of the Macalester Fund’s seven designations will count towards your class gift. The Macalester Fund added three new designations (Racial Equity Support, Student Emergency Aid and Athletics) to the existing designations of Financial Aid, Faculty Support, Program Support, Support It All.
I already made my gift this year. Will it still count towards the class gift?
Yes, absolutely. Any gift made by a member of your class between June 1, 2022 and May 31, 2023 will count towards your Reunion class gift.
Can I become a sustainer for my class gift?
Yes (and please do!). All the contributions between now and May 31 (the end of the Fiscal Year) will count towards your class gift.
Can I make a second gift?
Yes (and please do!)
When is the last day to make a gift?
May 31, 2023.
What is the easiest way to make my gift?
You can make a gift by visiting Macalester.edu/giving or by calling the Macalester Fund general line (651-696-6909).

Everything you love about Macalester. From financial aid, faculty salaries, student research opportunities, financing for new initiatives, and keeping the lights on and the campus beautiful - your class gift supports it all.
