Community Youth Advance partners with over 100 certified teachers, learning partners, and industry professionals to provide a host of wrap-around services to support elementary students across Prince George’s County as part of CYA's Newton's Thinkers program. Newton’s Thinkers serves K - 6th grade students in three developmental areas: academic achievement, character education, and service learning.

2. ENGAGE RELATIONALLY: Activities that get students connecting, playing, and engaging with a focus on the monthly character trait!
3. RESPOND WITH EMPATHY: Tools to get students thoughtfully re-focused to best meet their social, emotional, & physical needs.
4. VALUES PRACTICED: Experiential learning designed to put abstract values into practical action so students can better understand each trait.
5. EXIT INTENTIONALLY: Effective ways to end your month/week/day related to each month’s trait and to create a consistent classroom routine.
