Formerly known as the KCKPS Para-to-Teacher Program, this is a unique opportunity to earn your Masters of Special Education degree while working as a special education teacher. The district will pay your tuition while you pursue your degree in a highly supportive, cohort-driven model of teacher preparation. We partner with Fort Hays State University to provide KCKPS-specific coursework and to streamline processes like application, tuition payment, and practicum experiences, all while supporting you in your new career as a special education teacher.
