SPED Staff Newsletter
The Special Education Leadership Team shares periodic communications with certified and classified SPED staff that may include employee highlights, important updates, upcoming event information, and digital resources. These communications are typically distributed monthly when students are in session via email and may vary throughout the school year.
Staff may access available communications from the current academic year as applicable.
SPED Staff Huddle 2025–2026
The SPED Huddle is a periodic virtual opportunity for Special Education staff to connect with the Executive Director of Special Education, Dr. Ja’Kyta Lawrie, to receive updates and share questions or feedback. Participation is voluntary, and topics may vary based on staff needs and district priorities.
Scheduled meeting times may include: 12:30 PM, 1:00 PM, 1:30 PM, 2:00 PM, 2:30 PM, & 4:00 PM on the following dates:
September 17, 2025
November 19, 2025
January 7, 2026
April 15, 2026
