Welcome to the 2026 Lynden Junior Livestock Show and Sale!
We are excited to announce the 2026 Lynden Junior Livestock Show and Sale, an event that celebrates the hard work and dedication of local youth in agriculture. This year’s show promises to be bigger and better, featuring a wide variety of livestock including cattle, swine, sheep, and goats.
The event will take place on Friday, August 21th, 2026, at 1:00 PM in the Henry Jansen Barn on the Northwest Washington Fairgrounds.
This annual event is an opportunity for young farmers and ranchers to showcase the animals they've raised and trained over the past year. The show is a testament to the commitment of the participants and offers a chance to support local youth in agriculture through a live auction of the animals following the show.
Whether you're a local supporter or a first-time visitor, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Be sure to join us in celebrating these talented young exhibitors and the future of farming. It’s an event you won’t want to miss!
2026 Sponsorship Opportunity
We invite you to become a sponsor and show your support for the future of farming. Sponsorship opportunities are available at various levels, offering valuable exposure for your business and the chance to be a part of this important community event.
For more information on sponsorship details, please reach out to a board member. We look forward to partnering with you!
Photo Upload
We recommend that you upload a picture that will be seen by buyers that utilize the online add-on program. It will look better to buyers if you have a photo of you and your animal uploaded. See the instructions for how to upload new photos of your animal to use (instructions below or link to the left). Please picture a clean animal and background and be in your 4H or FFA attire. We recommend having this picture uploaded by August 1. Lambs are REQUIRED to have picture uploaded for sale purposes.

Each year, nearly 200 youth from Whatcom County participate, showcasing the animals they’ve raised and cared for throughout the year. These students are responsible for every aspect of animal care—from feeding and record-keeping to weighing, fitting, and showing their animals at the Northwest Washington Fair.
