Parent Faculty Association

WHAT IS THE PFA?

The Sumac Parent-Faculty Association is a group of volunteers that serves as a conduit of communication between parents, teachers, and the school administration. We encourage and enable parent involvement and input in the school's functioning. The PFA is also a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that supports Sumac initiatives, especially in the wake of California's budget crisis and resulting cuts to public school funding. Without PFA support, key aspects of your child's elementary education would be eliminated.

DIRECT DONATION 2026 - 2027

Direct donation is our school’s top fundraiser. With your generous donations, the Sumac PFA funds many important aspects of your child’s education, including the PE teacher, STEM program, librarian, classroom aids, educational assemblies, teacher supplies, and more. With your donation, you are helping to enrich your student’s experience at Sumac Elementary!
