Hi! I’m Mrs. DeBolt.
This is my 23st year in the LVUSD and 13th year at wonderful Willow. Child Development was my major and I received a teaching credential from CSUN. My experience has been in the primary grades. Teaching 50% is a gift that allows me to be a part of the profession I love and still have time at home.
Meeting the many different academic, social, and emotional needs present in every class is a challenge I enjoy. Clear expectations, active learning, and productive noise are what you can expect when you enter our learning environment. Mrs. Fersht and I have been colleagues and friends for many years. Our teaching philosophies are a fit and it is a joy to work together. I will be teaching Thursdays, Fridays and every other Wednesdays.
On a personal note, I love spending time with my husband, son and Newfoundland dog, Henry. My son Will is in third grade here at Willow – so exciting! Other favorites are the Foo Fighters, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, and guacamole. If you know the movie Tombstone, I’d be happy to trade quotes.
This is going to be a great year and I look forward to getting to know your child and you!
