Jazz Band is a class for advanced music students. Members of this performing group learn about jazz styles, rhythms and improvisation. It is a small ensemble setting and each member is responsible for an an independent part. Playing in Jazz Band is challenging and fun. Jazz Band is a class for all Eagle Band, String Orchestra, and Wind Ensemble students who wish to develop their jazz skills. Students are required to be enrolled in an additional music class during the day to sign up for Jazz. Membership is audition only.
