Brief Description: As defined by the Kansas State Department of Education, chronic absenteeism is when a student misses 10% or more of days of school for any reason, excluding school activities
Chronic absenteeism is tracked to proactively encourage good attendance as a component of the Kansas State Department of Education Accountability Report
