We recommend you use the Chrome web browser to access Gmail and Google Calendar, as extra functionality will be available, such as options to work offline.
To ensure you have access to all functionality in Google Workspace, you should sign into Chrome. This will also ensure your settings, history, etc. are synchronised if you sign into Chrome on another device e.g. a laptop or tablet.
Click on the User icon near the top-right corner of the screen and choose Sign In.
Enter your email address and click on Next
Enter your password and click on Next
Confirm your account sync by clicking on Yes
If you use Gmail for personal email, you can create a second Chrome Profile for this, and switch between them to access your different accounts as required.
Click on your profile icon to the left of the ellipses in the top-right corner of the browser window and
Choose Manage People
Click on the Add Person button
Click on Add
To link the new profile to your personal Gmail account, click on the Turn on sync button
Enter your personal Gmail email address and click on Next
Enter your personal Gmail password and click on Next
Click on Turn on to synchronise your account
You can now switch between your work and personal profiles by clicking on the profile icon to the left of the ellipses in the top-right corner of the browser window.
