Chat, Spaces and Meet in Gmail

When you access Gmail in your web browser, you will automatically have access to Chat, Spaces and Meet on the same screen. A new interface is rolling out in Gmail that we recommend you switch to, in order to get even more from the integrations with Chat, Spaces and Meet.

To ensure you can see Chat and Meet in Gmail:

Click on the Settings cog near the top-right corner of the screen
Choose See all settings

Click on the Chat and Meet tab
Next to Chat, choose Google Chat
Next to Chat position, choose Left side of the screen
Next to Meet, choose Show the Meet section in the main menu
Click on Save Changes
