Slide building-we were working on the Laws of Motion. We began with some rules.
1. At object at rest will stay at rest.
2. An object in motion will stay in motion unless a force acts on it.
3. For every action there is an opposite reaction...forces come in pairs!
Genius Hour During Distance Learning
My students were given the task of creating a "passion project" based on the Genius Hour model first created by Google. The idea is that kids brainstorm topics that are of interest to them. We then discuss the driving question, the question that leads the kids in their research. Here are a few public products from the kids in my class. They practiced creativity and really jumped into their topics. My third graders rock at research and we are so proud to share what we learned (they teach me so much with their learning!).
