MVP in the news
On October 10th, 2018, 11 student representatives from the LS MVP team joined Safe Schools Coordinator, Lori Hodin, English Teacher and Lacrosse coach Tim Jason, and other MVP staff to attend a Game Change Student Leader Summit with Robert Kraft and Maura Healey at Gillette Stadium. The students received the "Game Change Leadership Award" for their work in fostering positive change throughout the LS school community.
In January of 2017, Dan Ryan, Sydney Wry, Megan Chunias, Tiauna Walker, Jack Sutherland, and four students from Wayland provided a student perspective of why the MVP program is so important and how it has made an impact on their lives. In describing how to be an upstander, Dan Ryan noted that "You don't have to be the hero."
