Frequently Asked Questions


What mitigation strategies will be utilized?

  • Students will be encouraged to wash hands before and after meal times.

  • Increased cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfection frequencies for all areas of the kitchen and eating area, especially high-contact surfaces such as door handles, tables, chairs, and restroom fixtures.


Will students be socially distanced at breakfast and lunch?

No. Physical distancing will not be required or maintained in food service/cafeteria settings. The lunchroom will operate at normal capacity.


Will there be open lunch at the High School?

No. The open lunch program that was implemented last year will not continue. The only students who will qualify for open lunch are those students who live in Sully city limits and have a permission slip filled out and turned in to the office, and those seniors who are approved for open campus. We will return to pre-covid procedures.


Are food and drinks allowed in classrooms?

  • Yes, with teacher permission.

  • Water bottles are allowed in classrooms. All students are welcome to bring their own water bottle.


May students bring food for celebrations like birthdays and holidays?

Yes. The classroom teacher must approve the classroom snack ahead of time.
