Painting I

Course Description:  Painting I is designed to introduce students to color theory and a variety of acrylic painting techniques. Students will apply skills developed from technical instruction and practice to create original works of art applying acrylic paint and brush techniques to canvas. We will explore the acrylic paint media, as well as works of other artists (students and famous works) to better understand the purpose of art and painting.
