Jewelry I

Course Description: Welcome to the metalsmithing studio! This course is an introduction to jewelry with an emphasis on critical thinking, design, and technical skills. Students will learn to develop creative problem solving skills using art and design concepts, specific to the creation of jewelry and small-scale metal objects. Projects will then be created using the techniques demonstrated in class and culminate with the student’s critical analysis of their own work.
