8th Grade choir has the opportunity to do a lot of performing! The first performance is singing at the Rockies game on Wednesday, August 28th.  Information will come home at the beginning of school!

8th graders get the opportunity to build community by working together in class, singing at events, movie days after school, a Skate City event after school, going Caroling 4 Cans in December and singing at Elitches at the end of the year. 

Students will start learning songs by rote while also learning to read an octavo, learn solfege with hand signs, music theory and vocabulary.  They will also learn songs for their concerts.  We build community and learn the procedures and guidelines for our class as well.
