Mindfulness is a powerful tool to help children and adults with a wide range of concerns; from lack of focus to stress, anxiety, and overwhelmed feelings. To give families a better picture of how mindful practices can help, we’ve put together a menu of tools and directions that can be used at home and in school, and the role mindfulness can play in fostering wellness.
Mindful practices have the largest benefit if they are consistent, ongoing throughout the year and supported through a whole school approach where the participation of both children and adults is invited but not pressured.
It is our intention at LPCS to provide lessons and access to strategies to all students everyday.
