School Guidance Counselors
School counselors perform a wide variety of tasks. They are trained to give valuable assistance to students, helping them with their academic planning, college counseling, and goals, as well as their social, personal, and career development. With their help, students can navigate problems a bit easier and with confidence. Here at LHS we have an open door policy and welcome students into our offices anytime!

Early High School Program
Mrs. Zerr (she/her) has a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Social Work from Oklahoma State University, and a Master’s Degree in Educational Counseling along with a Principal License, both are from the University of Phoenix. She has been in the Denver-Metro area her entire life except when she went to Oklahoma for college. She was born in Brighton, Colorado. She has been at Littleton High School for 23 years as a counselor. She is the AP Co-Coordinator and the SSD Coordinator.
She sponsors the Student Council junior class as well as the early high school Brain Bowl club. Mrs. Zerr is willing to meet and work with anyone that needs help.

Mr. Puchino has worked at LHS for 26 years. His first assignment was as a Social Studies teacher and Head Boys' Basketball Coach. He has his Bachelor's and Teaching License from Metro State University. He has also attained his Administrator's License and a Master's in Counseling from the University of Phoenix.
Mr. Puchino worked for many years with the Girls' Basketball Program and is currently an Assistant Coach for the newly formed Women's Flag Football team.

Grady is a Tennessee native that is excited to spend her second year in Colorado as a LHS school counselor! She graduated with her Psychology degree in 2020, M.Ed in School Counseling in 2022, and formerly worked in a middle school.
She is thrilled to continue her counseling journey with high school students. Miss Beach will be the AP Co-Coordinator, Accuplacer Liaison, and PSAT 9 and PSAT 10 Coordinator. Outside of LHS, she enjoys soccer games, skiing, trivia nights with friends, and cuddling with her kitty, Louis.
Academic Interventionist
Our Counselor Interventionist plays a key roles in supporting students' academic success and personal development. By providing targeted interventions, addressing social-emotional needs, and improving attendance, the Counselor Interventionist helps students overcome barriers to achievement.
Our Para-Instructor assists our Counselor Interventionist in the classroom, monitoring students progress, and ensuring they are connected to the supports they need during Academic Study Centers.

Ms. Puchino is thrilled to be coming back to her roots at LHS, where she graduated in 2015 and had an amazing high school experience. After earning her Bachelor's of Arts in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University in 2019, she went on to complete her Master’s Degree in School Counseling at Adams State University. In her role as the school counselor interventionist, Ms. Puchino is dedicated to helping students overcome various challenges and barriers, ensuring they reach their full potential as students and young adults. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, watching and playing sports, and being with family and friends.

Bryce Johnson
Mr. Johnson went to LPS schools growing up and is excited to return as a staff member! Bryce has a Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs from the University of Colorado, Boulder and has worked with middle school, high school, and college level students to facilitate their education goals. Outside of school, Bryce enjoys hiking, running, and listening to audiobooks.
Mental Health Team
As School Social Worker and Mental Health Provider, Mrs. Porter and Ms. Petrone provide a range of services, including: individual and/or group counseling with students experiencing mental health or social difficulties; crisis intervention; meeting and communicating with families; assistance with accessing resources both within and outside of the school setting; and collaborating with both school staff and outside/community agencies. Above all, they aim to provide the necessary supports to all students in order to help them be happy, healthy, and successful.

In 2010, Tammie received her Master’s Degree in Mental Health and School Counseling from Long Island University, New York. Since then, she earned a License in Professional Counseling (LPC), and is a Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT). In general, her experiences range from school contexts, to hospital settings, and private group therapy practices.
Tammie is loves working at Littleton High School. She is passionate about building relationships and hopes to be a trusting and loving connection for students, staff, and families.

Mrs. Porter (she/her) has a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology, from Hollins University and a Master's Degree in Social work, from the University of Denver. In addition to these degrees she is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and currently working on her Principal's License.
Mrs. Porter strongly believes all students deserve access to an equitable education that supports their mental well being. At LHS she also co-sponsors the Gender Sexuality Alliance (GSA). In addition to mental health support, Millie also helps families navigate community resources and programs.
School Psychologists
As School Psychologists, Mr. Gould and Dr. Satmare are uniquely qualified members of the LHS school team that support students' ability to learn and teachers' ability to teach. They apply expertise in mental health, learning, and behavior, to help children and youth succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally. Here at LHS, Mr. Gould and Dr. Satmare primarily work with students who require special education services through a push-in model, individual and group sessions, consultation services, and psychoeducational evaluations.

David Gould (he/him) has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from New Mexico State University (Go Aggies!) and an Educational Specialist Degree in School Psychology from the University of Colorado Denver. This is his 8th year at Littleton High School and he continues to be excited to be a part of the LHS community. As a school psychologist, Mr. Gould works primarily with students who require special education services, but many other students get to know him as he helps coordinate assistance for students who are recovering from concussions.
Dr. Gregory Satmare, Ph.D., NCSP

Dr. Satmare (he/they) has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Youngstown State University, and a Master’s Degree and Doctorate Degree in School Psychology from Ball State University. Dr. Satmare completed his doctorate training with specializations in counseling psychology, gender and sexuality, and minority populations. Since 2015, Dr. Satmare has worked in a variety of K-12 public school districts in Indiana and in an integrated healthcare setting as a psychotherapist. Dr. Satmare’s main role at LHS is working with students who require special education services. Dr. Satmare is also the co-sponsor of the Gender & Sexuality Alliance (GSA) and the Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Club.
Post-Grad Specialist
The goal of the Littleton High School Post Grad Center is to assist all students with planning for life after high school, no matter what their future goals are. Our efforts are supported by a cadre of enthusiastic and resourceful parent volunteers. The Post Grad Center seeks to meet with every student at least once in their junior and senior years to share resources and help students develop an individualized path.

Ms. Walker earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Colby College in Maine and Master's Degree in School Counseling at Fairfield University, located in her home state of Connecticut. Before coming to Littleton High School, Kate was a school counselor for over 25 years, primarily at the high school level. Kate finds the work in the Post Grad Center to be very rewarding, as she truly enjoys helping students plan for their future. You might also catch Kate on the LHS tennis courts, as she also serves as the Assistant Boys Tennis Coach. Go Lions!
Family Liaison
Our Family Liasion works to assist students and families in navigating the school system. She primarily works with families in our ELD/MLL programs to better connect families and school together.
