211 Colorado is a phone hotline (and website) that provides connections to resources for a wide range of needs, including emergency shelter, affordable housing, food access, financial assistance for bills, transportation, and so much more. If you need help and don't know where to begin, 211 is a great starting point.
Your local public library is also a wonderful resource center. Public libraries can connect you to employment services--they sometimes even host their own job fairs--and also commonly have youth services or various social clubs as well as access to WiFi and printing, and so much more. Backpack Society is excited to partner with our school to provide students, their families, and school staff with food for weekends and school breaks. Check out the English & Spanish Flyer for more information.
This year there are two options that families and students can directly order:
Family Box (Pick up Backpack Society): box of groceries for a family of 4. This box includes perishable items such as milk, eggs, produce, bread, and meat, in addition to nonperishable staples and snacks. Student Bags (Pick up at school): Student weekend bags are filled with non perishable items consisting of 6 meals plus snacks.Click here to order. **Student bags can be picked up from Ms. Hobgood’s office every friday.**

Lions Share
At Littleton High School we recognize that sometimes there is a need for community support to supplement our mission to create the best possible educational environment for our students and families. In the past, our community has often helped meet those needs through creative solutions and personal generosity. Lions Share has been created to foster that established tradition of sharing ideas and resources.
Immediate Needs:
Gift cards for local merchants, i.e., King Soopers, Target, Safeway, Walmart, etc.

LHS Winter Assistance Program
For many years The Counseling Department has received support from community members, families, and staff in order to provide families in need with meals over the holiday breaks.
We will continue this tradition of providing families with gift cards with the intention to purchase food or gifts for the winter holidays.
