About Me

Professionally

I received my Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree in Art Education from the University of North Texas. 

I got my Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Colorado Christian University. 

I have taught children’s classes at the Art Students League of Denver, at home and at all levels. 

I became an art teacher because kids and art are two of my passions!...I have a heart for kids and love to create art of all kinds!

Personally

My name is Scarlet Lammers (yes, my name is a color!) and I am the Art teacher at Gaskill Elementary. Originally, I am from North Carolina, grew up in Texas and have been in Colorado ever since my twenties. My husband is a middle school Science teacher. Both of my kids attended Littleton Public Schools and are out of the “nest”. My son is a high school PE/Health teacher and my daughter works in the horse industry in Kentucky!

During my free time, I enjoy reading, exercising, doing puzzles, creating and exploring art, playing games, my faith, and spending time with family and friends.
