Hello wonderful families!
My name is Natalie Kuroda, and I’m so excited to be part of the amazing team here at Dr. Justina Ford Elementary! This is my third year teaching 4th grade at Ford and I feel incredibly lucky to be part of such a warm, supportive community.
I’m a Colorado native, born and raised right here in Centennial—and even more proudly, an LPS alum! I attended Sandburg Elementary, Powell Middle School, and graduated from Arapahoe High School. It’s truly special to now be teaching in the same district that helped shape who I am today.
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Metropolitan State University of Denver, with a concentration in Developmental Psychology, and I’m currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction through Western Governors University. During college, I had the opportunity to wear many hats across LPS—working in SACC programs, as a paraprofessional, and as a substitute teacher. These experiences gave me a deep appreciation for the many ways educators can impact students’ lives.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll usually find me baking something sweet, tending to my flower garden, or soaking up Colorado’s natural beauty - whether I’m hiking, skiing, paddle boarding, or fishing!
I can't wait to get to know you and your amazing 4th grader! It’s going to be a fantastic year full of growth, curiosity, and connection!
