A letter of recommendation is a document written by someone who knows you well professionally, academically, or personally. It typically highlights your strengths, skills, accomplishments, and character traits relevant to a particular purpose, such as a job application, college admission, scholarship application, or promotion.
The purpose of a letter of recommendation is to provide insight into your qualifications and abilities from the perspective of someone who has observed or worked with you. It serves to endorse you as a suitable candidate or applicant for a specific opportunity, lending credibility to your application by showcasing your capabilities through the perspective of someone else. These letters often play a crucial role in influencing decision-makers' opinions about you and can significantly impact your chances of success in your desired endeavor.
