Seniors have the opportunity to replace their school ID photo with a different photo. Although many students use professionals to take their senior photos, some students submit their own taken by friends or family.
No matter how you choose to take your photo, please be sure to follow the following guidelines. Photos that do not adhere to these standards may be cropped and/or cut from the yearbook without notice.
Yearbook student editors have the right to reject photos deemed inappropriate.
Students are responsible for previewing their photos to ensure that the correct one was received by checking the yearbook bulletin board, which is located outside of classroom F6 in the English wing. Photo pages are also posted in the Senior Commons windows.
Digital files need to be submitted using the specifications and submission method below.
SPECIFICATIONS
Each photo must:
be a photo ratio of 4:5; the photo must be vertical.
basic frontal view; head and shoulders of the student. About half of the photo should be the student's head. Full body shots or those where the student's head does not fill half of the photo will be cropped and may not publish correctly.
select your favorite background, but be sure it’s school appropriate
school appropriate props are okay
clear focus
dress should be appropriate attire; standard school dress is suggested
SUBMISSION INFORMATION: Please only upload once
To submit,
Save the .jpeg file at a resolution of at least 300 dpi.
Submit your photo to Lakeridgeyearbook.com. Under Senior Photo Submission, choose the button that says "Click Here to Submit."
You will be taken to the submission form.
Certify that you have the right to distribute these photos, that they are school appropriate and that you understand photos may be cropped to fit
