About Us

Lakeridge yearbook is a student-led class where we plan, design, and create the yearbook that is distributed to students at the end of the year.

The class consist of around 25 people each year, and and as class we work together to create the book. Students do a range tasks to complete the book, including:

  • Setting a budget
  • Planning deadline schedules
  • Finalizing page ladder plan
  • Brainstorming page and modular topics
  • Designing page layouts
  • Taking photos of sports and school events
  • Interviewing students and Lakeridge staff members
  • Editing photos, text and layouts
  • Creating baby ads
  • Writing stories for inclusion in the book

The class is run by the students and it's up to us to get everything done and create the book.
