Student Endangerment

Student Endangerment

The Site Principal or designee may suspend any student if it is determined that an unsafe situation for children or staff exists. An unsafe situation means a condition determined to constitute a threat to the health, safety and well being of children and/or Placer Extended Day Program personnel.

If a child is suspended, the child’s guardian shall be notified that the child may not return to the program without a conference. At the conference, a Plan of Assistance will be initiated or reviewed, per individual student/family need. Continued program suspension may be considered for up to 20 school days per incident requiring student removal.

To ensure the safety of all students, threats will be treated seriously and referrals may be made to law enforcement agencies.
