Al-anon is a support group for people whose lives have been affected by someone else’s drinking.
Alateen is a part of Al-anon family groups. It is a fellowship of young people (mostly teenagers) whose lives have been affected by someone else’s drinking whether they are in your life drinking or not.
AA is an international fellowship of men and women who have drinking problems. There are no age or education requirements. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about his or her drinking problem. It is available almost everywhere.

The Upper Room has three different ongoing support groups for parents, including: TIPS (for teens and young parents – childcare available), UR Parent Support Group (for parents of teens), and CONNECT (for parents of children ages 0-6 – childcare available).
