Equipment used in the training program must be of the type and quality found to provide training to meet the program goals and performance objectives. The facilities must be appropriate for the variety of learning activities which occur in the LPS classrooms.
Administration of Justice at Lincoln Technical Academy is located in classroom A1. The Classroom is 1053 square feet. There is seating for 32 students and one instructors desk. The class is equipped with a 10' length counter and sink. Locking storage cabinets are located under the length of the counter for storage.
The class also has one six foot high, one five foot and two four foot cabinets for storage. In case of emergency the class can be contacted via a intercom system between the office and class, a landline phone in the classroom or by instructors cell phone.
LTA students have access to numerous outdoor activity areas to extend learning and skill development. During the current school year we have obtained access to a local workout facility to further advance the Physical Training portion of the program.

1- Mannequin (Numb John) for baton training.
2- Batons, for striking mannequin.
3- Mannequin (Rescue Dummy) for rescue training.*
4- Six-foot wooden fence for students to go over.*
5- 3-feet high wooden fence.*
6- Strike bags for moving and dynamic baton training.
7- Airsoft guns for use in scenario training.
8- Handcuffs for handcuffing training and use in scenario training.
9- Fingerprint kit for training on lifting latent fingerprints.
10- Evidence markers for crime scene training in marking and collecting evidence.
11- Bags for collecting evidence and labeling it.
12- Police type duty belt with holster, handcuff case, and pouches for other equipment.
13- Uniform, for uniform inspections and use in scenarios.
14- Chromebooks to complete reports and assignments.
15-Rol-a-tape and measuring tape for measuring crime scenes and drawing sketches.

All classrooms are regularly checked through district protocols to ensure the safety of all staff and students (i.e. evacuation routes, fire extinguishers, safety drills, etc.)
Any chemicals used within the program are properly and securely stored and teachers are trained for their usage.

All LUSD schools hold regularly scheduled emergency drills which are evaluated and reviewed by the districts consultant (retired Chief of Police).
Classroom and laboratory meet all state and federal safety requirements
There are sufficient consumable materials and supplies. New supplies are requested when needed following district policies and procedures, utilizing Funding Request Forms. Combustibles are not used in class at this time, however, when they are added to the curriculum they will be stored properly either in the classroom or custodial closets.
