Ignite in proposed MOU
Ignite in proposed MOU
Our current SSR minutes were not being fully utilized and when restructured will provide opportunities to build school culture and determine meaningful student interventions. With a schedule change, each teacher will have a homeroom which will be used to build schoolwide connections and community. Student interventions will begin with tutorials, test make-ups/retakes, and reteaching of standards/skills. To aid attendance and data collection a learning management system will be used. Other comprehensive high schools are piloting, Minga, a learning management system and we will be starting our own pilot soon.
IGNITE for 2024-25
Since a MOU was not passed, Lodi High will be moving Ignite (formerly SSR) to the end of second period and it will be kept at 21 minutes. Tutorial days will be scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays only and students must have a Minga pass from their tutorial teacher to attend tutorial sessions. Ignite homeroom presentations will be prescheduled and will be used to build schoolwide culture and community.
