Dual Enrollment Information

CPCC Career and College Promise Dual Enrollment offers high school students the opportunity to get a "jump start" and earn college credit toward a two-year or four-year degree at Central Piedmont while still in high school, tuition free.

Dual Enrollment College Transfer Pathways offer eight different pathways designed to meet the general educational requirements for a four-year college degree.
Dual Enrollment Career and Technical Pathways offer more than 50 different pathways created to help get a head start on a great career. Students earn college credits toward a job credential, certificate, or diploma in a technical career.

CPCC Social Security Number Request Information

Career and College Promise students may receive an email or letter requesting their SS number or taxpayer ID. While CCP students are not required to submit this information to participate in dual enrollment, it is something the college attempts to obtain for all students. Please read below for more information we received from the cashier's department:

"You recently received communication regarding a request to provide your individual taxpayer number (ITIN) or Social Security number (SSN) to Central Piedmont. I wanted to provide you with more information about this. This is a Federal Law and requirement from the IRS for all students that would like to receive a 1098 T Educational Statement.

Students who are not required to have an SSN/ITIN can select this option through MyCollege and will be required to submit the request for student’s taxpayer identification number form.
