Both the LMTSD mini grant and Donors Choose grant were acquired to add to our 9th grade swimming curriculum for our students in 2018-2019. I am excited to bring this opportunity to my students and all incoming students in our swimming program!
Stand up paddle boarding incorporates balance, coordination, focus, teamwork and strength. Students have an opportunity to in addition to SUP, be challenged with yoga on the paddle boards during instruction during our swimming unit.

I organized Bob Kelly from Fox29 to join our students and staff in recognizing the many awesome grant opportunities that we brought to our district through our hard work in the health and physical education department.
All 9th grade students had an opportunity to have their health curriculum taken to the next level of engagement with the addition of the "Fatal Vision Pedal Cart Simulator" to the Alcohol Impairment Simulation Activities Stations.
Each class rotated between various simulated stations to analyze the simulated effects of alcohol impairment with the use of the FATAL VISION goggles and this year the pedal cart to simulate a driving experience.
