Click on the “Volunteer” tab to see the existing volunteers in the gathering.
Click the + Volunteer button to open the Volunteer allocation page
The process is:
a. Expand the section on the left to reveal the positions that need to be filled
b. Drag a volunteer from the list of volunteers into the desired position.
You can use the filters on the right to reduce the number of volunteers, or click “Clear All” to remove all filters and show all volunteers.
When you’re finished adding volunteers, you must click on the Save button to save all your changes.
On the Services admin page, click the box next to each of the gatherings you want to add volunteers to.
Once you have marked all the services you want to adjust, click the Edit Multiple button.
A screen similar to the following will be displayed:
Scroll to the volunteer position you want to fill:
Click on the “+” button in that box. That will bring up a filtered list of volunteers on the left of the screen.
Click-and-hold one of the volunteers, and then drag them into the correct slot. The box will turn green when it’s ok to drop.
When you release the mouse, the volunteer will be checked for any unavailability, and if there are no conflicts, they will be added to that role.
When a volunteer is unavailable for a particular date, the following message will be displayed
Click on “Remove” to remove them from the gathering.
When you are finished adding volunteers to all the gatherings, click on the “Services” link at the top left of the screen to return to the main services list.
