Experience Partners


As an Experience Partner, the Laurens Public Library will work with teachers involved in CS to support learning in different ways.  This may include such activities as:

As an Experience Partner, the Laurens Municipal Power & Communications  will provide opportunities for students to explore how technology changes, as well as giving them a chance to learn about different careers in computer science that aren't directly related to screen time.



As an Experience Partner, Heart 'n Home will show students how computer science skills can benefit a business owner.  They will see how inventory and point of sale programs work, as well as learning how security and payment programs can help a business thrive. As a Partner in Education for Laurens-Marathon, Heart 'n Home will be able to incorporate computer science into already created activities in First Grade, and will provide career education to older students.

Financial Partners

The Pocahontas County Foundation provides funding in a number of areas in Pocahontas County, including Education.  Thus far, we have received funding for:

The Buena Vista County Community Foundation provides funding in a number of areas in Buena Vista County, including Education.  Thus far, we have received funding for:

The Iowa Governor's STEM Council provides many awards each year that benefit students in Grades K-12. Awards related to CS that we have received are:
