The curriculum and materials used are a combination of plugged and unplugged activities from a variety of sources. Units are built in a manner that will allow students to build upon previous skills each year. Units include review lessons, which allow students new to the district to learn the base skills and then build on them.
Lessons are aligned to the CSTA Standards for grades K-6, and are compiled in a Scope and Sequence highlighted below. This document also has a page for each grade band to track standards, which insures there are no gaps in instructional content and grade bands. The current focus is on K-2 standards and units.
This live document will be fluid to allow for differientiation between classes' learning styles, prior knowledge base, and new technology that becomes available. Each grade has an individual sheet with links to units, lessons and the accompanying resources.
