Iowa STEM Council's Computer Science is Elementary Mentorship Project
The Computer Science is Elementary (CS is E) Project Schools Mentors will provide guidance and support to other elementary schools across the state that are creating and implementing computer science plans.
Our Objective
Every elementary school participating in the Computer Science is Elementary Project School Mentor Project will meet the Iowa Department of Education legislative requirements with high engagement and fidelity.

providing peer-to-peer mentorship
assisting in onboarding our educators and administrators relative to computer science curriculum
assisting with scope, sequence and alignment for computer science curriculum standards
modeling computer science lessons
guiding in the grant writing process to apply for additional financial resources and materials
